It is important to consider not only the quantity, but also the quality of muscle growth proteins when evaluating foods. With a low content or absence of essential amino acids, protein is considered to be of little value. In this case, they must be consumed in greater quantities. For example, proteins in corn and wheat are low in lysine, and proteins in legumes are not rich in methionine. Animal proteins can be classified as complete food products.

The necessary set of essential acids contains milk casein and cheese and cottage cheese made from it.

That is why in the diet of a healthy person, the proportion of proteins of animal origin (milk, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, poultry, fish, meat) should be at least 60-80 percent. Thus, you will provide the required optimum in the composition of amino acids.
