Many people consider lymphadenopathy (this is the name of this disease) to be something serious and very dangerous and immediately begin self-medication. However, it should be understood that the lymph nodes in the human body are assigned by nature to perform a protective function. If the lymph nodes have increased, it means that the infection has settled in the body, and they are fighting the malaise. But if the node remains inflamed for a long time, 3-4 weeks, for example, then this is already a sign that its treatment is necessary.
It is necessary
Increase the dose of vitamin C: the immune system must cope with the disease.
It is forbidden to warm and massage the lymph nodes. But sometimes the therapist directs you to physiotherapy, which is very helpful. At home, you can warm it up with dry heat (a linen bag with heated salt or sand), but you only need to apply such a warm "compress" for a few minutes, 3-4 procedures a day.
To warm up, you can lightly rub camphor oil or alcohol, warming ointment (for example, Vishnevsky, ichthyol) into the lymph node.
Inside, use bactericidal agents, for example, echinacea tincture. Dissolve 10 drops in a quarter of a glass of water, drink at least 4 times a day.
