Enterosgel is prescribed for intoxication of the body as a result of chronic kidney disease (pyelonephritis, polycystic, glomerulonephritis), for burn disease in the intoxication phase, purulent-septic conditions, toxicosis during pregnancy, before and after operations on the gastrointestinal tract. It is also used for allergic and atopic diseases (dermatitis, diathesis, bronchial asthma), diarrhea, radiation damage, food poisoning, alcohol intoxication, intestinal syndrome, which was caused by allergic food intolerance. The tool is included in the complex treatment of diseases of the digestive system: viral, toxic hepatitis, cholestasis, liver cirrhosis, hypo- or hyperacid gastritis, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome.

A single dose of Enterosgel will depend on the patient's age: adults and adolescents from 14 years old need to drink one tablespoon of the drug (15 g), children from seven to fourteen years old are given one dessert spoon (no more than 10 g), children from two to seven years - one teaspoon of the drug (5 g), children aged from one to two years share the dose in the amount of two teaspoons into three or four doses, children under one year old are given the drug in the amount of one teaspoon divided by three or four doses.

The drug is taken three times a day, between meals: two hours before or after meals. The duration of "Enterosgel" application is ten days in case of acute poisoning and two to three weeks in case of chronic intoxication. For severe illnesses, the drug should be taken in a double dose during the first three days. Long-term use of Enterosgel (longer than six months) is allowed in the treatment of obstructive jaundice, cirrhosis of the liver.

Enterosgel can cause nausea and flatulence. In severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, patients may develop aversion to the drug after two to three uses. The drug should not be taken in case of gastrointestinal ulcer disease in the acute stage, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, with morphophysiological disorders in the gastrointestinal tract of various origins (acute gastric dilatation syndrome, intestinal atony), hypersensitivity to the components.
