In the presence of medical indications, persons with disabilities can receive medical treatment and rest in a sanatorium free of charge. To exercise your right, you need to collect a package of documents and get on the queue to receive a ticket.

It is necessary
- - certificate of the establishment of disability;
- - an individual rehabilitation program (if available);
- - passport and its copy.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the health center serving your address. Your supervising doctor will examine you and determine if there are indications for spa treatment. In addition, the doctor must make sure that there are no contraindications to this type of rest, so be prepared for an additional examination.
Step 2
If the specialist decides that you are indicated for treatment in a sanatorium, and that your condition allows you to get there, you will be issued a corresponding certificate. But to obtain it, you will need to present a document confirming the right to a voucher, i.e. certificate of disability. If you have an Individualized Rehabilitation Program (IPR) issued by the ITU Office, you must also show it to your doctor. It contains information about which profile of the sanatorium is preferable for you. In addition, the IPR is mandatory, therefore, in the absence of contraindications for spa treatment, you cannot be refused a referral.
Step 3
Contact the regional office of the FSS with all the necessary documents. The specialist will accept them and give you a registration notification. It must be remembered that the certificate from the polyclinic is valid for 6 months, so if your turn for sanatorium treatment does not fit within this period, you will need to visit the clinic again and update the certificate.
Step 4
If you are a disabled person of the first group or want to get a voucher for a handicapped child, then you can request a free voucher for an accompanying person. It is issued under the same conditions, that is, after receiving a certificate from the clinic and upon presentation of a photocopy of the passport.
