Depending on the depth of penetration, there are:

- first degree burns: characterized by redness and superficial skin lesions;

- second degree burns: accompanied by skin peeling and blistering;

- third degree burns: destruction of skin cells and subcutaneous tissues occurs.

With a slight burn, which can include a sharp sunburn, you must quickly apply a cold compress or place the affected area of skin under a stream of cold water. This will relieve painful sensations, reduce the burning sensation. But it should be noted that prolonged exposure to cold can lead to frostbite, so use caution.

If bubbles form, cover them with a lint-free cloth so as not to damage the integrity. Never use a needle to pierce the blisters, as an open wound can lead to infection. The bladder should burst on its own, after which it is not necessary to remove the exfoliated piece of skin.

An effective remedy for burns is an oil ointment. To do this, you need to take 100 g of unsalted butter, 20 g of linseed oil, 40 g of beeswax and put on low heat for 20-30 minutes. Cool the finished mass to room temperature and apply evenly on a piece of cloth. Apply such a compress to the damaged area and fix it with a bandage. To obtain the result, the dressing should be changed 2 times a day until the skin is completely healed.

For blisters, use a mixture of vegetable oil and wax in a 1: 2 ratio. Bring the ingredients to a boil, cool and apply to the prepared fabric.

You can lubricate the affected skin with aloe juice and pulp. The herb will help relieve pain and inflammation.

To prevent bubbles from forming, it is necessary to make lotions from raw grated potatoes in the first minutes after receiving a burn. Spread the resulting mass evenly over the burnt area and leave for half an hour. Then remove the residues of the product and rinse with warm water.

Fresh urine is a fairly simple and affordable remedy for burns. But it should be noted that the effect is achieved if the dressings are changed constantly. The bandages to be applied should not have time to dry. Strong black or green tea and pumpkin juice have a similar effect.

If the lesion is large or severe, you should immediately seek help from a medical facility. A burn of more than 60% of the total area of the skin can be fatal if timely qualified assistance is not provided.
