Step 1

Althea syrup is recommended for tracheitis, bronchitis and tracheobronchitis. However, you should not take marshmallow with individual intolerance to any of the components of the drug. Before use, dilute 1 tablespoon of marshmallow syrup in ½ cup of warm boiled water. Adults and children over 12 years old should take one serving of the drug 4-5 times a day, preferably after meals.

For children under 12 years old, mix 1 teaspoon of syrup in a quarter cup of warm boiled water. Offer the drug to the child after meals, 4-5 times a day.

The course of treatment is at least 10 days for a child under 12 years old and at least 15 days for adults and children over 12 years old. Repeated and longer courses of admission must be prescribed by a doctor.

Marshmallow syrup can be prepared at home. Cover the measuring cup with cheesecloth and put 1 tsp on top. crushed marshmallow roots. Now pour the marshmallow with a pre-prepared mixture of half a glass of boiled water and 1 tsp. vodka. Collect the liquid in a glass and refill the marshmallow with it.

Step 8

Repeat the procedure 15 times. Now take ¼ cup of the resulting liquid and add 2.5 tbsp. granulated sugar. Heat over moderate heat until sugar is completely dissolved. The syrup is ready. For a special flavor, add 2-3 drops of anise oil, available in pharmacies. You need to take homemade marshmallow syrup 1 tsp. 3-5 times a day after meals.
