It is necessary

  • - flax seeds;
  • - hot water;
  • - a small saucepan with a tight lid;
  • - strainer.

Step 1

At home, flax seed decoctions can be effectively used as a laxative, enveloping and soothing agent. Preparing such a decoction is not at all difficult and this procedure does not take much time. Remember only that any remedies made from flaxseeds or flowers, including decoctions, should be used only fresh on the day of preparation, they cannot be stored.

Step 2

To prepare flaxseed broth, take a small saucepan with a lid, pour 4 teaspoons of seeds into it. Pour one liter of water over the seeds and put the pot over the fire. Bring the solution to a boil, reduce the temperature and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Then remove the saucepan from the stove, close the lid tightly and put in a warm place to infuse. Leave the broth for one hour. If desired, it can be filtered before use, but this is not necessary. There will be no negative consequences from the use of an unstrained broth.

Step 4

Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to a freshly prepared broth for flavor. Take half a cup after about 2-3 hours. The broth is best consumed warm. This remedy is very effective for internal edema and constipation. A noticeable result appears after a week or two of regular use of the decoction.

Step 5

For ulcers of the stomach and intestines, various colitis, mucous infusions are especially useful, which are obtained from flax seeds when they are poured (3 grams is enough) with a small amount of boiling water (about ½ cup). The mucus secreted by flaxseeds envelops the inner walls of the stomach and intestines and thus creates an effective protection against any irritating influences.

Step 6

Flaxseed tea can be used as a natural weight loss product. To do this, pour a tablespoon of flax seeds with a glass of boiling water, bring to a boil, cover and simmer for half an hour. In the process, approximately every 5-7 minutes, lift the lid and stir the broth. Remove the finished product from heat, cool and take half a glass half an hour before each meal. In general, you can drink 1, 5-2 glasses of broth per day, but no more.
