Chronic tonsillitis leads to the formation of pus in the throat. The disease manifests itself in the inflammatory process of the palatine tonsils, the result of which is the formation of purulent foci in the lacunae of the tonsils. Chronic tonsillitis is the result of frequent, not completely cured sore throats, curvature of the nasal septum, carious teeth, purulent sinusitis, rhinitis and pharyngitis. In addition, the common cold, which sharply increases in the autumn-winter period, and the weakening of the immune system, also provoke tonsillitis.

It is necessary

  • - sage;
  • - eucalyptus;
  • - pharmacy chamomile;
  • - edible salt;
  • - alcoholic tincture of iodine 5%;
  • - Lugol's solution;
  • - propolis;
  • - hydrogen peroxide 3%.

Step 1

To effectively cleanse the tonsils of pus, prepare the following gargle solution. Take a teaspoon of eucalyptus and sage leaves, pharmacy chamomile flowers, grind to a powdery state, pour a glass of boiling water and, putting on low heat, simmer for 5-7 minutes. Cool and gargle with the cooked broth 7-8 times a day. Alternate rinsing with this broth with rinsing with the following composition. Take a tablespoon of edible salt, dissolve in 150 ml of warm water, add 7-9 drops of 5% iodine tincture. Rinse with different formulations for three days.

Step 2

If the gaps are not cleared of pus in three days, treat the throat with Lugol's solution. After wrapping a wooden stick or ordinary pencil with cotton, soak it liberally in Lugol's solution, and gently lubricate the tonsils in a circular motion. Perform the procedure 3 times a day, some time after eating. One hour after treatment, gargle with a saline solution (20 grams of salt per 150 ml of water).

Step 3

An effective remedy for pus in the tonsils is gargling with hydrogen peroxide in combination with resorption of propolis. Take 50 ml of warm water and, adding 15 ml of hydrogen peroxide, gargle 4-5 times a day. Place a piece of propolis about the size of a match head under your tongue at night. The throat will be cleared literally on the second or third day of the joint procedures. However, continue to perform the procedures for another 10 days, but gargle with hydrogen peroxide once before bed. Resorption of propolis for 14-17 days will help you forget about tonsillitis for a long time.
