Propolis is a beekeeping product with unique medicinal properties, used to treat many diseases and support immunity, while having a minimum of contraindications. The most common dosage form for storage and use in therapy is propolis alcohol tincture. In this form, propolis retains all its healing properties for several years. At home, you can prepare a propolis tincture, which will not be inferior in effectiveness to the pharmacy one.
It is necessary
- Propolis 25 gr
- Alcohol 100 ml
- Dark glass container
Chop the propolis with a kitchen knife or grate until it is chunks within 3 mm.
Pour the obtained propolis powder into a prepared container made of dark glass and fill it with alcohol.
Close the container with a tight lid, shake and put in a dark place to ripen at room temperature.
For two weeks, insist propolis, shaking and stirring the contents daily in a tightly closed container.
After two weeks, filter the finished tincture and pour it into a dark glass container for storage.
