Inflammation of the gums occurs under the influence of traumatic factors, such as dentures, crowns, tartar deposition, mucosal injury. There are two forms of gingivitis - acute and chronic. The acute form is characterized by severe pain, increased salivation, and bad breath. Chronic gingivitis is accompanied by bleeding, cyanosis, and loosening of the gums. Treatment is necessary complex, with the obligatory sanitation of the oral cavity. Medicinal plant preparations are used from the first days of the disease.

- - calendula flowers, chamomile flowers, nettle leaves, yarrow and sage herb;
- - grass turnip, sage, thyme, oak bark;
- - burnt alum, salt;
- - propolis, vodka, St. John's wort.
For acute gingivitis, prepare the next collection. Take 2 parts each of calendula flowers and pharmacy chamomile flowers, 1 part each of nettle leaves, yarrow and sage herbs, chop the components, mix thoroughly.
Brew a tablespoon of the collection in 250 ml of boiling water, infuse for an hour, filter. Drink 1/3 cup of this infusion three times a day before meals. Rinse your mouth 5-6 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 5-7 days.
To rinse your mouth while loosening the gums, prepare the following collection. Take 2 parts of sage herb, agrimony and thyme, one part of oak bark, chop the components, mix.
Brew 2 tablespoons of the collection with half a liter of boiling water in a thermos for 4-6 hours. After filtering, rinse the mouth 5-7 times a day, keeping the infusion in it for 3-5 minutes each time.

For the treatment of chronic gingivitis, prepare the following formulation. After grinding 25 grams of propolis, fill it with 150 ml of vodka. Place the bottle in a dark place for a week. Shake daily to dissolve the propolis faster.
After a week, add 25 grams of crushed St. John's wort leaves to the alcoholic extract of propolis and leave for another 15 days. Shake the dishes regularly. At the end of the infusion, filter.
To prepare a gargle, dissolve 30 drops of the prepared infusion in ½ cup of water. Rinse your mouth 5-7 times a day.
