It is necessary

  • - cold water;
  • - baking soda;
  • - the pulp of raw potatoes, carrots, cabbage for lotions;
  • - decoction of green tea, St. John's wort, chamomile, elderberry and kombucha for lotions;
  • - oatmeal broth and potato starch for compresses;
  • - vitamins A, B and C.

Step 1

For sunburn, take a short, cool bath. Add ½ cup baking soda to it. This will help to relieve the local temperature rise and somewhat alleviate the general condition. After the bath, make a freshly brewed green tea lotion. To quickly restore the skin, take vitamins, especially A, B and C, drink more fluids and healthy drinks - juices, herbal decoctions, green tea. Their antioxidant and vitamin-enhancing properties will help heal the burn faster.

Step 2

For burns with boiling oil, water, or a hot pan, immerse the affected area in cold water (not under running water). Keep it on for at least 5-10 minutes. This will cool the skin and relieve some of the pain. Carry out further treatment of the burn yourself only if there has been no violation of the integrity of the skin, and the volume of the lesion is no more than the volume of the palm.

Step 3

Do not use oily substances immediately after a burn: petroleum jelly, vegetable oil or cream. They slow down the recovery of the skin and increase the risk of infection if it is damaged, especially if it was not immediately noticed.

Step 4

To relieve inflammation with a burn, use various lotions and compresses. Every 2 hours, apply the pulp of raw potatoes wrapped in several layers of gauze to the burned area. To enhance the therapeutic effect, drink half a glass of freshly squeezed potato juice every morning on an empty stomach.

Step 5

The next day, alternate the potato lotions with the pulp of carrots and cabbage. As compresses, you can use cool oatmeal jelly mixed with potato starch. Apply the mixture for a few minutes, and without waiting for complete drying, rinse with water. Repeat several times a day.

Step 6

To accelerate the healing of the burn surface and eliminate pain, make lotions from freshly brewed green tea, and, if possible, from the juice of a fresh plant. In dry and powdered form, apply tea to the sore spot several times a day. From herbs to treat burns, make compresses with a decoction of St. John's wort, chamomile or elderberry.

Step 7

For a minor burn, apply a thin layer of kombucha mass to the inflamed skin area. Change the lotion as it dries. After several procedures, the redness disappears, and in the future, the burn will disappear without a trace.

Step 8

For large burns (larger than the palm of your hand) with skin damage or severe pain for 48 hours, or chemical or electrical burns, be sure to see a doctor after first aid. In such cases, tissue disintegration causes an increased formation of toxins, and the larger the area and depth of the lesion, the stronger the intoxication of the body occurs. This condition can disrupt the functioning of many organs - the kidneys, brain, heart, liver, or cause general blood poisoning.
