Inflammation of the uterus occurs mainly in the autumn-winter period, as it is facilitated by the cold. But sometimes the disease begins to manifest itself due to the occurrence of genital infections, which complicates not only treatment, but also making an accurate diagnosis. The disease is very serious, so if you feel pain in the lower abdomen, discomfort or discharge, see your doctor immediately.

Step 1

Get a complete examination with a gynecologist. The doctor will look at the condition of the uterus, its size and the color of the cervix. He will also take a swab and give you a referral for an ultrasound. An ultrasound examination will be performed on a full bladder and on an empty one, and with the help of a special nozzle, a vaginal examination will be performed on the equipment - this will help to reveal a more accurate picture of the disease.

Step 2

If the diagnosis is confirmed, you will be prescribed antibiotic treatment. Sometimes complex therapy is prescribed using metranidazole, trichopolum or other similar agents, both in the form of vaginal tablets and oral preparations. Take all the pills prescribed by your doctor, otherwise there is a high risk of complications, which are even more difficult to cure.

Step 3

Against the background of the main treatment, auxiliary treatment will not hurt. Do douching with chamomile decoction. Brew 1 tbsp. l. in a glass of boiling water, insist and strain. Then add boiled water to the resulting broth to make a volume of about 150-200 ml. Perform the procedure twice a day.

Step 4

Make warming baths. Brew 2 tbsp. l. oak bark in a liter of boiling water, strain after 40 minutes. Pour water into a wide, but not very deep basin. The water temperature should be about 40 degrees, if you can tolerate hotter water, then this is even better. Pour the broth of oak bark into the basin. Sit for 15-30 minutes. If you do not have a container in which to sit, a regular bath will do, but in this case, make the broth a little more concentrated.

Step 5

Visit your gynecologist periodically so that he can monitor your condition. If there is no improvement, you will be admitted to the hospital for intensive treatment. The sooner you beat the inflammation, the less chance of complications. The key to success is a timely visit to the doctor.
