Emphysema is called organic damage to the lung tissue, which is expressed by the expansion of the alveoli, as a result of which air does not completely escape from the lungs and gas exchange is difficult. In addition, a rupture of the interalveolar septa is possible. Instead of the fine-meshed sponge that normally makes the lungs, they turn into large bags filled with high carbon dioxide exhaust air. Emphysema is primary - the result of a genetic malfunction, and secondary - the result of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It is necessary
- - marsh rosemary;
- - elecampane root;
- - liquorice root;
- - leaves of coltsfoot;
- - marshmallow root;
- - chamomile;
- - mint;
- - valerian.
For emphysema complicated by bronchitis, prepare an infusion of wild rosemary. Pour 1 teaspoon of crushed rosemary leaves with two cups of boiling water in a thermos, leave for 15-20 minutes, then drain into a saucepan, sit over it, covered with a blanket, and inhale for 15-20 minutes. Inhalation with marsh rosemary promotes the rapid discharge of phlegm from the bronchi and facilitates breathing.
Perform the procedure once a day.
Prepare the next herbal collection for ingestion. Take equal amounts of coltsfoot leaves, elecampane root and licorice, chop and mix. Pour 1 tablespoon of the collection into a thermos and, pouring 400 ml of boiling water, leave for 2 hours. Then strain and consume ¼ cup 3 times a day. This infusion promotes the discharge of phlegm and improves breathing.
In case of shortness of breath, it is useful to prepare an infusion on the marshmallow root. Take 2 parts marshmallow root, 1 part each chamomile, mint and valerian. Grind and mix all components. Pour 2 tablespoons of the medicinal collection into a thermos and, pour 2 cups of boiling water, leave overnight. In the morning, filter and drink the resulting infusion during the day for 4 doses half an hour before meals.
