Water with honey is a popular drink among those who lose weight. Despite the high calorie content, honey, in addition to sugars, contains pectins and some types of easily digestible vitamins.
Honey water is considered a very useful product, because it contains almost the entire range of B vitamins, as well as potassium, magnesium, iodine, iron, copper, manganese and other trace elements.

This drink is recommended for people with no more than 10 kg of excess weight. For obese people, honey water can make things worse.
Regular intake of honey water improves digestion, speeds up metabolism, and satiates quickly. The drink promotes the elimination of toxins and excess fluid from the body, starts the processes of fat burning. The permissible amount is 1-3 glasses per day with a break between doses of at least 3-4 hours. Also, honey water can be drunk in small portions during training or during active physical activity. A glass of drink taken on an empty stomach helps to wake up, starts metabolism, and has a beneficial effect on the chemical composition of the blood.
It is not recommended to take honey water for people suffering from diabetes, or susceptible to sharp drops in blood glucose levels.
