After shave irritants

If you have very severe irritation, pimples with purulent contents appear, wipe the damaged area with a semi-alcohol solution. To do this, dilute pure alcohol in 4 parts, and if you are using vodka, then in 2 parts with pure water. Wipe the skin and apply an antibiotic-containing ointment such as Metrocaine, Levomekol, Syntomycin.

Bepanten ointment helps with skin irritation. You can buy it at any pharmacy. Apply the ointment to clean skin several times a day until the inflammation disappears completely. It usually goes away after a couple of days.

Calendula tincture also helps to relieve inflammation after shaving, but it is advisable to dilute it with boiled water in equal proportions before the procedure. Keep in mind that the diluted tincture is cloudy.

With severe inflammation, when the lymph nodes are involved in the process, it is necessary to consult a surgeon who will prescribe antibiotics. It is highly undesirable to take potent drugs without consulting a doctor.

When shaving, try to use special gels, foams, new machines, and then apply lotions that disinfect microcracks. This way you will avoid unpleasant consequences.
