How to brew and drink tea properly

Correctly brewed tea has a tonic effect, it contains a lot of all kinds of useful and nutritious substances and vitamins, which makes it a truly healing drink. In the homeland of tea in China, it is believed that its use gives peace to the soul, clarity to the mind, and sharpness to vision. Green and black tea are the leaves of the same plant, only black tea undergoes fermentation, after which its taste and even chemical qualities change. Therefore, these teas are brewed in different ways.

Green tea should not be brewed with steep boiling water - so that it fully reveals all its healing and taste qualities, it is first rinsed with boiled water cooled to 70-75 ° C and this first infusion is simply poured out. After that, hot water of the same temperature is poured a second time, and the drink is infused in a closed kettle with a small hole in the lid for 4-5 minutes. Good green tea can be brewed several times, up to 4-5 times, and each time its taste will be revealed in a new way.

Black tea is brewed with boiling water, after rinsing the kettle with it. After that, tea is poured into the kettle and boiling water is added to 2/3 of the volume, after keeping for 3-4 minutes, the kettle is topped up to its full volume and after that the tea can be drunk. Black tea is brewed once. The correct dosage for the preparation of both black and green tea is 1 teaspoon per 1 glass of water and one more teaspoon of dry tea is put on a teapot basis. If you exceed this dosage, the result is a strong tea.

Strong tea is not recommended to drink during periods of exacerbation of chronic diseases or in those diseases that are severe.

What effect does strong tea have on the body?

Scientists from the Medical University of Hanover conducted detailed studies and found that strong tea is not at all beneficial to human health. It has a particularly strong effect on the organs of the cardiovascular system, causing tachycardia, and sweet tea also increases blood pressure. It is believed that green tea is more beneficial than black tea, but in case of an overdose, its negative properties are also manifested to a greater extent. This is due to the same higher content of biologically active substances, which, when there are too many of them, have a negative effect on blood vessels.

Contraindications for strong tea are pregnancy, glaucoma, hypertension, any nervous disorders.

Strong black tea is contraindicated for those currently taking blood thinning medications such as aspirin. Too strong tea has a strong stimulating effect, so it should not be drunk at night, so as not to provoke insomnia and headaches. At a high temperature, it is also impossible to drink it, so as not to increase it even more.
