Step 1

Belching can be caused by excessive consumption of carbonated drinks, physical activity, but it can also indicate the development of gastritis, lesions of the esophagus or the presence of a hernia in the esophageal opening of the diaphragm, bending of the stomach, disturbances of its peristalsis. Belching often accompanies gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, diseases of the liver, gallbladder, can be observed with lesions of the cardiovascular system. In each of these diseases, its character will be different: sour, bitter or putrid.

Step 2

There is another disease known as aerophagia, in which a person unconsciously swallows an excess amount of air, which also manifests itself as a constant belching. In this case, it does not have an unpleasant odor. The presence of an unpleasant odor of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia can indicate a neoplasm in the stomach, as a result of which food lingers in the stomach for a long time, and when it decomposes, gases are formed, which cause belching and bloating.

Step 3

If unpleasant symptoms appear, you should consult a doctor to identify the cause of the belching. Further treatment will depend on the diagnosis, and you should also follow a special diet. When belching, you should not eat carbonated drinks and heavy foods, which are digested for a long time in the stomach. Fatty, fried foods, smoked meats and marinades should be excluded. It is also necessary to give up dairy products that contribute to its development. Sometimes the belching is caused by the use of eggs, nuts, citrus fruits, chocolate.

Step 4

It is recommended to take food fractionally, in small portions, but often. With excessive formation of gastric juice, the doctor prescribes antacids that alleviate the patient's condition. These include "Almagel", "Gastal", etc. It is necessary to give up smoking and chewing gum - a large amount of saliva, which is released, leads to its involuntary swallowing along with the air.

Step 5

Regardless of the prescribed treatment, you can use folk remedies to eliminate belching: you need to drink tea from medicinal herbs: blackberry, mint, lemon balm. With increased acidity of gastric juice, a mixture of linden flowers, mint, fennel, flax seeds helps well. You need to take half a glass of broth 2 times a day. Treatment should be long-term, lasting at least a year.

Step 6

Aloe infusion with honey has a good healing effect. To prepare it, you need to cut off the leaves of the plant, rinse and stand for a week in the refrigerator, then scroll in a meat grinder and mix with honey in a 1: 1 ratio. The mixture should be infused in a dark place for 14 days. Take the medicine according to the scheme: in the 1st week 1 tsp. x 3 business days before meals; in the 2nd week, 2 tsp x 3 r. etc.; in the 3rd week, 3 tsp. x 3 w.d. If a strong laxative effect occurs, the dose should be reduced to the initial one. It is important that the patient is not allergic to the components of the mixture.
