Black radish is known as a remedy for a variety of conditions. The root vegetable has a bitter taste, but the recipes for drugs from it are easy to prepare and at the same time very effective. Black radish is indispensable for colds, bronchitis, it improves immunity and is a good antimicrobial agent.
If you have a cough or other signs of a cold, you can make black radish syrup in different ways.
The most famous syrup recipe: unpeeled black radish is washed under water, after which the upper part is cut off. It should look like a lid. Under it, a hole is cut in the pulp of the root crop. Its size should be such that you put a spoonful of honey there and there would still be room for the juice to form. Cover the radish with a cut piece, like a lid, and leave to infuse for 10-12 hours. During this time, a sweetish syrup is formed in the fossa, which has a healing effect. It should be taken before meals, a teaspoon, and so 3 times a day. As necessary, honey should be added to the radish little by little, and the root crop should be changed every three days.
With a cough, sore throat, acute respiratory infections, such a remedy will help: the radish is peeled and cut into cubes, put in a jar and poured with honey. You cannot close the jar with a lid. Cover it with gauze - so the radish will "breathe". Insist for 24 hours, take one teaspoon 3-4 times a day.
"Quick" syrup: wash the radish, peel and grate. Squeeze the juice through cheesecloth. Add two teaspoons of honey, mix well. The syrup can be consumed after the honey has been dissolved.
Before using "home" remedies for the treatment of diseases, it is highly advisable to consult a doctor. Drugs made from black radish should be taken a little, literally 3-4 tablespoons a day, no more - the remedy is quite strong and if consumed excessively in the body, undesirable reactions may occur.
