Chanterelles are very good fried and pickled, they make excellent caviar. These mushrooms have an important feature: they are never wormy. Chanterelles can be used not only for culinary but also for medicinal purposes. For example, alcoholic tincture of these mushrooms is of indisputable value.

Why chanterelles have healing qualities

As already mentioned, worms never grow in these mushrooms. The fact is that chanterelles contain a unique substance - hinomannose. Worms of all kinds, as well as insects, simply cannot stand it. In addition, quinomannose has the ability to destroy the shell of eggs of worms and tapeworms, as a result of which it can be used as an effective anthelmintic agent.

However, this substance decomposes at high temperatures. Therefore, as an anthelmintic, not heat-treated chanterelles are used, but alcohol tincture on raw mushrooms.

Chanterelles also contain substances that have a beneficial effect on the liver and pancreas. In various sources, there are statements (although not yet confirmed) that these fungi can slow down the development of certain types of malignant tumors and remove radionuclides from the body. Therefore, whenever possible, these mushrooms must be included in the diet. Moreover, they have a very pleasant taste.

How to cook and use alcohol tincture of chanterelles

If you want to use chanterelles as an anthelmintic, take 2 full tablespoons of mushrooms, washed and finely chopped (or minced), fill them with 150 milliliters of pure alcohol, stir, tightly cover the container with the alcohol-mushroom mixture with foil or plastic wrap and remove in the refrigerator. You need to insist on the remedy for 2 weeks.

If you don't have alcohol, you can use vodka to make the tincture.

After this period, the tincture will be ready for use. Take 1 teaspoon daily before bedtime, shaking the container beforehand, for a month. As a result of this course of treatment, you will completely rid your body of roundworms, pinworms and other parasitic worms, as well as their eggs. Please note that this infusion should not be taken by children, pregnant and lactating women. Also, tincture of chanterelle mushrooms is contraindicated in diseases of the cardiovascular system.
