Instructions

Step 1

To treat eczema, apply tar to a 5x5 cm area of the affected skin. After a couple of minutes, you will feel a burning sensation. Itching after applying tar will disappear. After 15-20 minutes, remove the tar from the skin with a gauze cloth moistened with any oil. If during the day after the procedure, the skin reddening and itching did not intensify, then the next day apply tar on another area of the skin with an area of 10 × 10 cm. Increase the exposure time to 30-40 minutes. Gradually increase the time up to 2-3 hours. The course of tar treatment for eczema is 15 procedures.

Step 2

For scabies, lubricate the affected skin with clean tar for several hours. Then rinse the skin with warm bran water. The mechanism of action of this method is that tar has a detrimental effect on the itch mite, and the bran reduces itching.

Step 3

To treat scaly lichen, mix 1 tbsp. tar with 3 tbsp. fish oil until smooth. Moisten a gauze pad with the mixture and apply to the skin. Put a piece of plastic on top and fix the compress with a bandage. Remove the bandage after 2 hours. Repeat the procedures until complete recovery.

Step 4

Mix 5% tar soap to treat psoriasis.

Step 5

For the treatment of non-healing wounds, trophic ulcers, abscesses, prepare Vishnevsky ointment: mix 3 parts of birch tar, 3 parts of xeroform (it is also sold in a pharmacy, like tar) and 94 parts of castor oil. Apply the ointment to the skin under the bandage 1 to 2 times a day. Store the bottle of ointment in a cool place. Its shelf life is 3 years.

Step 6

For fungal infections of the feet, apply tar on the skin for 1.5-2 hours once a week. Continue the procedure until you recover. For better penetration of tar into the skin, before applying it, steam your feet in a hot soapy-soda bath and rub your feet with a pumice stone.
