Rarely does a child immediately begin to speak “purely”. When a baby lisps, it looks cute. But if such a speech defect persists in an older child or even a completely adult, the help of a speech therapist is needed. However, parents themselves can organize classes for their lisping child. To correct speech, as a rule, it takes a month and a half.
At the first stage of classes, you need to train with the baby, practicing general exercises, best of all - in front of a mirror. Do everything in a playful way, in no way forcing the child, but by engaging and captivating him. For example, tell us about a naughty language that does not want to speak correctly, and about the fact that it is necessary, sticking it out forward, as if to spank it with your lips, while pronouncing "five-five" at the same time.
Then invite your child to pretend that a curious tongue is sticking out. In doing so, he must open his mouth, stick out his tongue and put its tip on his upper lip. But the tongue seemed to be frightened and hid behind the upper teeth. The kid should definitely touch the tubercles (alveoli) located behind the teeth with its tip.
Next comes the turn to turn the tongue into a painter. He paints the sky like a ceiling. The kid smiles, opens his mouth, strokes the palate with the tip of his tongue, like a painter with a brush. In this case, the lower jaw should be motionless. If it is difficult for a child to lift his tongue, you can put a candy under it. A week should be devoted to the course of these general studies.
In the second week, start putting the "sh" sound. To do this, try with the baby to pronounce this rebellious "sh" correctly: stretching your lips forward, clenching your teeth, raising your tongue to the sky, but not touching the latter. Ask your child to picture the snake hissing: "Shhhh." At the same time, he can pinch one cheek with his thumb, and the other with his middle finger. When the sound starts to sound right, you can move on to the next step. But for a week, at least, you still need to work out, consolidating the skill.
The third week is the time for working out the syllables. Start learning to pronounce Sha, Sho, Shu, Shi, as well as Ash, Osh, Ush, Ish. Different children are better at different combinations, there is no particular order.
During the fourth week, the baby learns to speak the words correctly. Start with simple ones - "cap". "Tire", "fur coat", "jackal", "whisper", neck ", train for 2-3 days. Then move on to the complex ones - "tower", "head". "Cat", "wardrobe", "box". School". This will also take 2-3 days on average.
The fifth week involves teaching the pronunciation of sentences. Try to repeat, for example, "Masha has a new fur coat", "The cat has ears on the top of her head and" A hat and a fur coat - this is our Mishutka. " You will notice that the child has stopped lisping!
