Do not try to get rid of the disease on your own, in some cases this leads to the development of serious complications. Only a doctor will be able to diagnose citrus allergies and choose the optimal method of treating the disease, including proper nutrition and physiotherapy.
With mild symptoms of the disease, you can turn to folk remedies, which are sometimes quite effective. Beekeeping products are very popular: honey, bee bread, honeycomb, zabrus. However, these drugs must be used very carefully, since in some cases they can aggravate the manifestations of the disease. One of the most effective remedies for the treatment of allergies is the mummy, which is used internally and in the form of lotions. In addition, phytopreparations such as birch buds, nettle leaves, wormwood, duckweed and oregano can be used for this purpose.
It should be remembered that with severe symptoms of citrus allergy, medications are used, which can be divided into two categories. The first group of drugs is used for symptomatic treatment aimed at reducing the external signs of the disease. For this purpose, antihistamines are prescribed: Claritin, Kestin, Tsetrin, Zirtek, Erius, which are taken within 2-3 months. In severe cases, hormonal drugs "Prednisolone" and "Hydrocortisone" are used inside or in the form of injections. The second group provides inactivation of antigens by adding enterosorbents to the standard allergy treatment regimens: Enterosgel, Polysorb, Activated Carbon. They are able to remove allergens and toxic metabolic products from the body.
You can forget about allergies for a long time by using such a method of treatment as specific immunotherapy. It consists in introducing small doses of an allergen into the patient's body. This procedure produces antibodies that block the allergen.
