Part of the intestinal microflora dies during drug treatment, malnutrition and abuse of strong alcohol. Dysbacteriosis leads to a weakening of the immune system. In this case, drugs or proper nutrition will come to your aid.

  • - dairy products;
  • - bifidobacteria;
  • - prebiotics.

Step 1

It is possible to normalize the intestinal microflora with the regular use of fermented milk products. Eat daily 250 ml of yogurt, sour cream or drink several glasses of kefir, fermented baked milk. For a while, exclude spicy, fatty and smoked foods from the diet - they impair the digestibility of bifidobacteria. The course of treatment is long, since some of the beneficial microorganisms from the total mass contained in the product die in the acidic environment of the stomach.

Step 2

Take medications containing bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. They are sold without a doctor's prescription, but consultation with a specialist is never superfluous. Carefully study the instructions, because some products need to be consumed before meals, and some after meals. If you have problems with the digestive system, opt for rectal suppositories that normalize the microflora. Do not drink alcoholic beverages during treatment, the exceptions are high-quality wines and weak beer in small quantities with meals.

Step 3

Consult your doctor about the advisability of using prebiotics if other drugs have not helped restore the intestinal microflora. Sometimes complex treatment is prescribed. Prebiotics differ from bifidobacteria and lactobacilli in that they stimulate beneficial bacteria in the intestines, which leads to their growth and reproduction. But again, everything is individual and depends on the general condition of the gastrointestinal tract.
